Global English: Tips and Trouble Spots

Designed to give non-native speakers of English an overview of standard business English protocols, this dynamic workshop begins with our Business English Needs Assessment and Skill Area Questionnaire, and a discussion of your particular needs and interests.  Next, we review business e-mail etiquette and useful e-mail phrases, and you will engage in activities to practice your e-mail writing skills.  We then focus on the pragmatics of business English, and review appropriate language for speaking at meetings and participating effectively in workplace discussions.  We will end the workshop with a Business Culture Quiz and Trouble Spots Q&A, to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience.
