In this dynamic, hands-on workshop, you will begin with a discussion of the value of diversity and the key skills needed to thrive in a diverse work culture. You will also learn about cultural orientations, and take an inventory of your own cultural context. Through our discussion of intercultural competence, you will gain an understanding of communication filters, and learn how to manage filters in a culturally sensitive manner. Finally, you will practice identifying the difference between inclusive and exclusive behaviors through multicultural problem solving exercises.
